How volcanic eruptions effect people living near by

Living near an active volcano can affect people in many different ways. An ashfall from a volcanoe canbe very dangerous, especially if it's wet because it can build up on roofs of houses and cause it to collapse, however most people leave their houses and are not often around to clean it off. If it's really heavy it can make it impossible for people to breathe.

Sometimes large parts off a volcaano will collapse and produce gasses that can damage nearby plants and make breathing hard for people. Fast moving lava can also kill people instantly.
